About the Position

Job Title: Clienttion Therapist Profession: Clienttion Therapist Specialty: Oncology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Monday - Friday Hours per Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (40-hour guarantee; possibility of 4/10s) Experience: 2+ years of radiation therapy experience; 1 year travel experience required or work experience post-graduation with specific technology License: ARRT (T) Certifications: ARRT, BLS (AHA) Must-Have: ARRT (T), 2+ years radiation therapy experience Description: Responsible for the delivery of quality patient care through radiation therapy treatments. Perform treatment simulations and fabricate all necessary shielding blocks. Maintain accurate electronic medical records (EMR). Prepare equipment for patient treatments and perform quality control and assurance tests. Ensure proper infection control techniques and adhere to optimal radiation safety and protection practices. All activities reflect the philosophy, goals, objectives, and standards of practice. Provide provisions of quality patient care, environmental safety, and interdisciplinary cooperation. Maintain professional working relationships with medical staff. A strict attendance policy will apply. Absences from a scheduled shift or tardiness will result in immediate termination after three occurrences. Supporting evidence will be reviewed for extenuating circumstances.
