About the Position
Job Title: CT Technologist Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: CT Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Mid 5x8-Hour Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum 1 year required License: Valid state license required Certifications: ARRT R, BLS, venipuncture certification Must-Have: - Experience in abdomen without and/or with contrast, chest without and/or with contrast, and pelvic scans - Ability to perform emergency department procedures - Proficiency in multiplanar reconstruction and preparation/administration of contrast media Description: This is a mid-shift position for a CT Technologist. The technologist will perform CT scans on a variety of patients. The role requires working with patients of all ages, including neonates, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Knowledge of charting using an electronic medical record system is needed. The technologist may be required to float between units as necessary. Flexibility to work weekends and holidays is required, with a commitment to work 3 of the 5 major holidays each year. The facility strives for a collaborative interdisciplinary environment to provide high-quality patient care. Candidates should possess strong skills in various CT procedures, including biopsies and coronary CT angiography. The position entails effective communication with the healthcare team and patient families. Travelers may be expected to float between nearby facilities when needed. Refusal to float may lead to reassignment issues. Candidates will need to provide two professional references covering recent work experience.
