About the Position

Job Title: Respiratory Therapist Profession: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Specialty: CRT NICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience required License: Must have licensure in hand Certifications: - NRP Certified - ACLS - BLS - CRT - RRT Must-Have: NICU experience required Description: NICU experience is required. NRP certification is required. We will accept both RRT and CRT candidates. Candidates must have an active state license in hand. Weekend rotation is required. The position involves working with neonates. Responsibilities include providing respiratory therapy to critically ill neonates. Candidate must possess skills in handling high-risk deliveries. Experience with various respiratory equipment and therapies is necessary. Ability to perform procedures such as intubation and suctioning is crucial. Candidate should be familiar with charting systems. Previous experience in a pediatric and adult critical care setting is preferred. Candidates must be able to float within the hospital as needed. Professional references are required. This role requires effective communication and teamwork skills. Candidates with recent cancellations may be reviewed prior to approval. Disclosures about any license disciplinary actions are necessary during submission.
