About the Position

Job Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist Profession: Respiratory Therapist Specialty: Respiratory Therapist Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 06:00 PM - 06:30 AM Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Not specified Certifications: BLS, NRP Must-Have: Peds experience preferred Description: Assess, treat, and care for patients with breathing disorders. Assume primary responsibility for all respiratory care modalities. Supervise respiratory care students. Initiate and conduct therapeutic procedures. Maintain patient records. Select, assemble, check, and operate equipment. Provide high-quality respiratory care to multiple patient populations including neonate, infant, toddler, school age, adolescent, adult, and geriatric. Work 12-hour shifts. Every other weekend is required. On-call required once every scheduling period. May cover other shifts as needed. One shift of mandatory low census may be implemented per week, depending on patient load. 36 hours per week required.
