About the Position

Job Title: Surgical Tech - Vascular Profession: Surgical Services Specialty: OR Tech / Surgical Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day and Night shifts available Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2 years of Surgical Tech experience required License: BLS required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NBSTSA preferred Must-Have: Level 1 Trauma experience preferred Experience with General and Trauma procedures required Experience with vascular and endoscopic procedures required Experience with colorectal and gastro robotic procedures required Da Vinci experience highly preferred First-time travelers not accepted Description: Please provide interview availability for the next 3-4 days when submitting. This position involves Day shift with possible Night shift rotation. There is a potential for off-shifting, occurring 1-3 shifts in a week. This will be on a rotation basis every 4-week scheduling period. Weeknight call requirements are an average of 1-2 nights per week. Weekend call is required approximately every 4-5 weekends. Block scheduling cannot be accommodated. The facility operates 30 rooms with a daily case load of 60-80. Experience in Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm repair, Cholecystectomy, and other abdominal surgical procedures is expected. Skills in Da Vinci Robotics and other advanced surgical techniques are highly desirable. The environment may include a variety of patient age groups, including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. This position will involve working with interdisciplinary support teams. Special equipment such as robotics may be involved in the procedures. Routine compliance with facility regulations is expected.
