About the Position
Job Title: Radiology Tech Profession: Allied Specialty: Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 8-hour Day Shift Hours per Shift: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM (Monday - Friday) Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: ARRT Certifications: BLS Must-Have: Experience with specific patient types; open to performing office/admin tasks; experience with c-arm; comfortable in a fast-paced environment. Description: Large clinic with several rooms, including an x-ray room and an injection room. Average of 60 imaging patients per day, with around 30 being injections. Common diagnoses include spine and head scoliosis series and shunt series. Outpatient imaging and injections are conducted without sedation. Will work with both adult and pediatric patients. Seeking candidates with experience in the specified patient types. Candidates should be open to performing additional office and administrative tasks. Familiarity with c-arm is required. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment is essential. Typically, three techs will manage imaging. Staff includes front desk personnel and providers in the injection suite. Unit-specific equipment includes Shimadzu x-ray and GE OEC c-arm. Floating to other campuses may occur but is very rare. Management can typically accommodate staff preferences regarding floating. Scheduling does not involve weekend rotations or on-call duties. Holidays are not worked, as the clinic is closed. Requests for time off need to be approved by management. Scrub color is black.
