About the Position

The shift is during the day, working from 06:30 to 19:00. The role requires the therapist to work with patients of all age groups, including adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. Good critical thinking skills are essential as the position involves evaluating, assessing, and treating patients. The therapist will work with various equipment, including Drager V800 Ventilators, 1200 LTV Ventilator for transports, and Vapotherm. They will also be involved in emergency response situations and provide care for patients with a range of diagnoses. Special procedures and protocols will be followed based on the needs of the patients. This job may require floating between facilities. The therapist will need to be adaptable and willing to work holidays as required. The position demands strong skills in adult critical care and the ability to perform procedures such as intubation assist and arterial blood gas drawing. Interdisciplinary collaboration will be an important part of the role. The therapist should be familiar with various respiratory treatments and methodologies. Effective communication and teamwork are essential components of this position.
