Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | Onsite | 8:00 PM – 7:30 AM | Weekend and holiday requirements apply | Call requirement: typically one night per week and one weekend per month

Key Responsibilities

• Perform standard MRI imaging studies on a GE 1.5T scanner, averaging approximately 30 scans within a 24-hour period
• Start and manage IV access for contrast administration as required
• Operate and navigate EMR and PACS systems including Epic, Fuji, and Synapse PACS
• Collaborate with on-site and remote radiologists to support timely and accurate image interpretation
• Adhere to department-specific protocols, dress code, and safety standards including radiation badge compliance
• Participate in department-specific orientation prior to independent assignment

Required Qualifications

• ARRT certification with MR specialty (ARRT – MR)
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Previous hands-on experience operating GE MRI equipment
• Ability to start IVs independently
• Must be available and present in state for the full week of orientation
• Valid driver's license required; must reside within 60 miles of facility

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Familiarity with Epic EMR and Synapse PACS workflows
• Prior travel or contract MRI Technologist experience
• Comfort working night shifts with on-call responsibilities
