Travel Respiratory Therapist – Registered (Nights)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide timely diagnostic and therapeutic cardiopulmonary services to inpatients and outpatients in accordance with approved protocols and department policies
• Assist physicians with invasive and non-invasive procedures including intubations and arterial line insertion
• Deliver medicated aerosols via medical compressed gas and maintain patient airways
• Manage ventilators and perform pulmonary function studies, cardiac and pulmonary stress tests, and blood gas analysis
• Provide respiratory care services to pediatric and OB patient populations

Required Qualifications

• Active NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification required
• Active Wyoming Respiratory Therapist license required
• Minimum 2 years of recent clinical respiratory therapy experience
• Experience working with pediatric and OB patients required
• Current ACLS, BLS, NRP, and PALS certifications required (must be issued through the American Heart Association)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel therapy experience in a hospital or acute care setting
• Previous experience working in a community hospital environment
