Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Surgical Technologist to join a busy Operating Room team in an acute care hospital. The ideal candidate will assist during a variety of surgical procedures while maintaining a sterile environment and supporting the surgical team to ensure safe, high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain the sterile field before and during surgical procedures.
• Assist surgeons by passing instruments, supplies, and equipment.
• Ensure surgical instruments and equipment are properly prepared and available.
• Maintain accurate surgical counts and follow infection control standards.
• Collaborate with surgeons, RNs, anesthesia providers, and the OR team.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room Surgical Technologist experience.
• BLS Certification required.
• COVID-19 vaccination required.
• CST certification preferred.
• Experience with orthopedic procedures is required.
• Experience with spine, general surgery, gynecology, urology, ENT, cardiovascular, or robotic procedures is a plus.
• Cerner Surginet experience preferred.
• Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume OR.
