Respiratory Therapist – Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, 3x12-Hour Shifts) | 36 or 48 Hours Available | Every Other Weekend, Every Other Holiday

Key Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy services within a children's hospital setting, including NICU and PICU environments
• Perform respiratory and neuro diagnostic assessments and interventions in accordance with scope of practice
• Float within scope of practice to other units as needed
• Participate in a self-scheduling model while adhering to unit staffing needs
• Complete specialty-specific orientation modules as required prior to independent practice

Required Qualifications

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required
• Minimum Level 4 NICU experience required
• Valid state respiratory therapy license (Virginia license required prior to start date; pending license accepted if temporary license can be obtained before start)
• Epic EMR experience required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Adult Critical Care Specialist (ACCS) certification preferred
• Cardiac PICU experience preferred
