Job Title

CVOR Surgical Technologist – First Assist

Location

Atlanta, GA

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Days | 3 x 12-hour shifts | 36 hours per week

Key Responsibilities

• Perform first assist duties during cardiovascular operating room (CVOR) surgical procedures
• Scrub and assist the surgical team throughout cardiovascular cases
• Prepare and maintain the sterile field in accordance with established protocols
• Anticipate the needs of the surgical team and respond appropriately during procedures
• Ensure proper handling, passing, and accounting of surgical instruments and supplies

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of CVOR Surgical Technologist experience
• Must hold active First Assist (FA) certification or credential as a CVOR Surgical Technologist
• Demonstrated ability to function in both a scrub and first assist capacity within the cardiovascular OR

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with a broad range of cardiovascular surgical procedures
• Strong communication and teamwork skills within a fast-paced OR environment
