About the Position

Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technologist Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Nuclear Medicine Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (07:30 - 16:00) Experience: Minimum of 2 years preferred License: State license required Certifications: ARRT N, ARRT R, BLS, NMTCB Must-Have: Strong skills/experience in required procedures Description: Nuclear Medicine Technologists perform nuclear stress tests, Hida scans, VQ scans, biliary studies, lymph injections, and ameloid studies. They utilize GE equipment, specifically the SPEC CTG850. The role requires staff in black scrubs. Holidays are required as they fall, as scheduled. Floating within the specialty and other units may be required. Every other weekend is required, inclusive of weekend on-call obligations. On-call coverage is required during weekdays and every other weekend, with specific hours detailed. The candidate should have experience with various special procedures and have knowledge of handling radioactive materials. Strong management and leadership experience is preferred. A background in community hospital or similar facilities is advantageous.
