About the Position

Job Title: Ultrasound Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: General Ultrasound Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (08:00 - 16:30) Experience: Minimum 1 year required License: New Mexico license pending is acceptable Certifications: ARDMS, ARRT Must-Have: - 1 year of experience - National certification in hand Description: Seeking an experienced Ultrasound Tech for a day shift position. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of ultrasound experience. First-time travelers are welcome to apply. The traveler will be responsible for covering outpatient and OB services. Call is required for two days a week and two weekends a month. A national certification is required to be in hand. A pending New Mexico license is acceptable. Candidates must be proficient in performing a variety of ultrasound examinations. Skills required include proficiency in 1st trimester, 2nd trimester, and 3rd trimester ultrasounds, as well as abdominal, pelvic, and obstetric exams. Additional skills should include experience with high-risk OB, fetal anatomical surveys, and vascular studies among others. Floating to similar units may be required based on facility needs. Travelers will receive a brief orientation on the unit upon arrival.
