About the Position
Job Title: Occupational Therapist Profession: Therapy/Rehabilitation Specialty: Acute Care Client Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (07:00 - 15:00) Experience: Minimum 1 year of acute care experience License: Valid WA License required Certifications: None specified Must-Have: - Acute care experience - Ability to float between units - Flexible to work as a team member Description: This position requires an Occupational Therapist with acute care experience. The candidate will float between various units including acute, medical, ICU, and rehabilitation. Weekend rotations are required, typically one weekend every four weeks. The expected patient ratio is 8-9 patients per day. The ideal candidate should be friendly and ethical. Experience with inpatient rehabilitation and familiarity with Epic charting is preferred. The facility serves a diverse range of patient diagnoses, including multi-trauma, surgical, and orthopedic cases. Candidates must be able to evaluate and treat patients across all work areas. Independence and strong time management skills are essential for success in this role. Candidates must be willing to pick up extra patients to meet productivity standards.
