Key Responsibilities of the Respiratory Therapist

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments and interventions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in the management of respiratory conditions.
• Conduct assessments and evaluations of respiratory function.
• Monitor patients' responses to therapy and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Ensure accurate documentation using Epic charting system.

Requirements of the Respiratory Therapist

• RRT certification required, CRT not accepted
• Minimum 2 years of experience in respiratory therapy
• Epic experience required
• BLS and NRP certifications
• Experience with adult critical care and related respiratory therapies
