This role involves reviewing prescriptions for Therapeutic Interchanges while working remotely. Key Responsibilities of the Staff Pharmacist

• Review prescriptions for Therapeutic Interchanges
• Accept and dispense prescription medications
• Monitor patient medication compliance and over-usage patterns
• Ensure the supply of medicines is within the law and suitable for patients
• Maintain confidential records of patients and manage pharmacy files
• Advise patients about medicines, including side effects and interactions
• Provide consultation on prescription and non-prescription medications
• Offer services like smoking cessation, blood pressure, and cholesterol management
• Educate patients on handling medical devices
• Compound medications and prepare sterile solutions
• Supervise pharmacy staff members
• Maintain inventory on pharmaceutical and medical supplies
• Identify and communicate drug-related problems with healthcare practitioners
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other health professionals

Requirements of the Staff Pharmacist

• Doctor of Pharmacy degree
• Licensed by the state pharmacy board
• PharmD licensed in state of residence
