Contract (13 Weeks) | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift | Monday–Friday, 8-Hour Days | 40 Guaranteed Hours per Week | 1 Weekend Required per Contract Period | On-Call: 8:00 AM–10:00 AM Every 5th Saturday | Holidays as Needed

Key Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services to patients in an inpatient acute care setting, including Med/Surg, Pediatrics, and ICU
• Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans to support functional recovery and independence
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions and monitor patient progress throughout the continuum of care
• Accurately document patient assessments, treatment sessions, and progress using electronic health record systems
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate patient care and discharge planning
• Adapt to changing patient volumes and census fluctuations in a fast-paced hospital environment

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy required
• Active Wisconsin State Occupational Therapy license required
• Current BLS certification through AHA or ARC required
• Minimum of 2 years of occupational therapy experience required
• Experience in inpatient acute care settings including Med/Surg, Pediatrics, and ICU
• Must comply with facility masking policy during flu season if declining flu or COVID vaccination — no exceptions

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with EPIC electronic health record system strongly preferred
• Prior travel therapy experience strongly preferred
• Strong adaptability, resilience, and ability to manage change in a dynamic clinical environment
