Key Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services to a caseload of approximately 7–10 patients per day across a variety of diagnoses including geriatric, pediatric, neurological, and orthopedic conditions
• Deliver general rehabilitation care within an outpatient/inpatient occupational therapy department
• Document patient care and treatment plans using Epic EMR
• Collaborate with a lead therapist and rehab tech to coordinate and deliver patient care
• Participate in department orientation including EMR training and mentored patient care as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active Michigan Occupational Therapist license (or confirmation that the application process has been initiated)
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Ability to manage a general rehabilitation caseload with a wide variety of patient populations
• Proficiency or ability to learn Epic EMR
• Must comply with a drug-free workplace policy and produce a negative drug screen

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Pediatric occupational therapy experience is preferred
• Prior experience working in a multi-population rehabilitation setting including neurological and orthopedic diagnoses
