About the Position

Job Title

Vascular Technologist / Cardiac Sonographer (Radiology/Cardiology – Vascular Tech)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | Full-Time | Onsite | Monday–Friday, 5x8-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, within a 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM outpatient window)

Key Responsibilities

• Perform vascular and echocardiography studies including Abdominal Aorta, Aortic and Arterial Graft Studies, Carotid, Color Flow, Doppler Studies, Duplex, Lower and Upper Extremity Arterial and Venous, M-Mode, Renal Artery Duplex, and Transcranial Doppler
• Operate independently in an outpatient setting, managing studies with minimal supervision
• Utilize PACS (Philips) and EPIC EMR systems for imaging documentation and patient records
• Float to multiple outpatient campus locations as needed to support staffing demands
• Adhere to scheduling requirements including variable shift assignments within the defined outpatient hours
• Maintain compliance with all credentialing, licensing, and facility policy requirements throughout the contract

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of vascular and/or echocardiography experience; first-time travelers will not be considered
• Must be registered by ARDMS or CCI; accepted credentials include RDCS and RVT, or RCS and RVS
• Adult echocardiography and vascular experience required
• Active, in-hand credential/registration at time of submission
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Current driver's license required; candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Candidates holding RVS certification with Echo experience will be considered
• Experience with Philips ultrasound equipment and PACS systems
• Comfort and prior experience working independently in an outpatient clinical environment
