About the Position

Job Title

Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) – Operating Room (OR)

Key Responsibilities

• Assist surgical team throughout operative procedures in the operating room setting
• Prepare and maintain a sterile field, including the setup of surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment
• Pass instruments and supplies to surgeons and surgical assistants during procedures
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the perioperative process
• Communicate effectively with the surgical team regarding procedural outcomes and patient status

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) experience required
• Active NCCT or NBSTSA certification required (documentation must be provided)
• Ability to work day shift in an onsite operating room environment
• No special scheduling requirements; standard availability expected

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a regional referral center or high-volume surgical environment
• Familiarity with a broad range of surgical specialties
