About the Position
Job Title: Medical Technologist Profession: Medical Technologist Specialty: Lab Technologist Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 10:30 PM - 9:00 AM Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Requires six months of experience in a medical laboratory setting. License: N/A Certifications: Certification at the technologist level from a nationally recognized agency is preferred. Must-Have: - BLS Certification - Technical proficiency and theoretical knowledge sufficient to perform laboratory functions Description: Under general supervision, performs routine and complex analytic procedures on blood and/or other body fluids or specimens. This involves manual techniques or the use of laboratory instruments and information systems. Demonstrated technical proficiency and theoretical knowledge sufficient to perform laboratory functions are required. Every other weekend is required.
