Job Title: Echo Tech/Cardiac Sonographer Profession: Radiology/Cardiology Specialty: Echo Tech/Cardiac Sonographer Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years required License: Active license must be in hand at submission Certifications: Registered by either ARDMS or CCI Must-Have: Candidates must be registered with both echo and vascular. Candidates must have experience with adult patients. Candidates must have PACS and Philips experience. Candidates must be flexible with scheduling and aware of a zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences. Candidates must be okay with working alone in an outpatient setting. Candidates must have passed the compliance EKG exam. Description: We are seeking a qualified Echo Tech/Cardiac Sonographer. The position requires expertise in echocardiography and vascular studies. Candidates will perform various ultrasound procedures including abdominal aorta, carotid, and duplex studies. Experience with color flow, Doppler studies, and M-mode is essential. Candidates should also have knowledge of transcranial Doppler procedures. The role involves floating to different locations as needed. All candidates must meet state licensing and certification requirements. Candidates will need to complete compliance on time. Candidates should be aware of the clinical expectations and patient demographic.
