About the Position

Job Title: Computed Tomography Tech Profession: Computed Tomography Tech Specialty: Computed Tomography Tech Duration: 8 weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 40 hours per week (8x5's) Experience: Must have recent experience in EPIC License: Radiologic Tech (RT) in the state of practice: Required Advanced Certification in the modality of CT: Required in some states, Preferred in CA Certifications: Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists: R.T. (R)(CT)(ARRT) OR R.T. (R)(ARRT): Required Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor: Required Fluoroscopy license in the state of employment: Required if operating fluoroscopy equipment Venipuncture certification: Preferred Description: Operates computed tomography equipment. Produces cross-sectional images of patients' bones, organs, and tissues that are used to diagnose medical conditions. Performs a variety of imaging procedures, including general radiography and fluoroscopy. Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates care for patients of various ages. Produces sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation. Uses PACS and teleradiology systems to transfer images accurately. Maintains accurate records and files. Ensures the integrity of patient medical images and data while adhering to confidentiality guidelines and regulations. Performs routine maintenance and calibration of equipment. Manages supply inventory. Performs other job-related duties as assigned. Organizational Requirements: All associates are required to receive all required vaccinations as a condition of employment, with medical and religious exemptions applicable. Participation in E-Verify is a requirement.
