Job Title: Physical Therapist Profession: Physical Therapist Specialty: Physical Therapy Duration: 8 weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Two years' Physical Therapy experience preferred License: Physical Therapy licensure in state of practice required Certifications: Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required Must-Have: Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree required, only if obtained license on or after January 2016, or foreign equivalent Description: Centered in a community known for its small-town charm and extensive vineyards. The facility has been a leading healthcare provider since 1952. The facility includes a 190-bed hospital, 17 medical offices, home care services, comprehensive cancer care, and a wide range of award-winning services. The Physical Therapist plans and conducts segments of treatment programs designed to restore and improve physical, social, and mental functions. This role meets department objectives and serves as co-leader in an interdisciplinary approach to patient groups. The Physical Therapist completes evaluations to ensure quality standards and addresses assessment areas that require attention. Appropriate clinical techniques and tools are utilized to establish individualized treatment plans for patients. Therapy interventions are provided using appropriate treatment protocols and techniques. Individualized care and discharge plans are established and communicated to appropriate parties. Comprehensive and accurate clinical documentation is completed within established deadlines. Assigned assistants are supervised. Other job-related duties may be assigned as needed. Staffing includes a variety of professionals working together to meet patient needs. Flexible scheduling is often required to accommodate staffing needs. A cafeteria is on-site and department training will be provided during the first week. Scrubs are not provided; specific colors are required.
