About the Position
Job Title: Neuro Interventional Radiology Technologist Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Interventional Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: 2 years required in Interventional Radiology or Neuro License: South Carolina RN license preferred Certifications: BLS, ARRT (R) Must-Have: A radiation badge must be supplied by the agency. Description: This position requires a Neuro Interventional Radiology Technologist. The daily caseload per technologist is approximately 4-5 cases. The shift will consist of either 5 days of 8 hours or 4 days of 10 hours. On-call requirements include being available every 5th weekend and one night per week. A radius rule applies, requiring a response time within 30 minutes during on-call hours. Candidates with 2 years of experience are required, although first-timers may be accepted. Candidates must hold current certifications in BLS and ARRT. Interventional Radiology and Neuro experience is necessary. A radiation badge is required and must be provided by the agency. Locals may be considered at a lower bill rate. All requests for time off must be included at the time of submission. Travelers may be required to respond to emergency situations during hurricane season, which occurs from June to November each year. Candidates should ensure they have no planned time off that would hinder the compliance process before their proposed start date.
