About the Position

Job Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist Profession: Respiratory Therapist Specialty: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2+ Years of RRT Experience License: Active State License Certifications: NRP, BLS (AHA), NBRC, ACLS (AHA), PALS (AHA) Must-Have: Skills Checklist current to 1 year, Supervisory Reference Forms Completed within the last two years Description: This position independently or in consultation with a physician administers medications. Performs various types of therapeutic modalities and diagnostic testing for the cardio-pulmonary system. Responds to arrest and emergency situations. Provides CPR and life support systems. Performs respiratory care to evaluate and treat protocol evaluations. Delivers medications via aerosol and metered dose inhalers. Responds to all rapid responses, arrest, or STAT situations immediately. Maintains artificial airways and respiration, and performs cardiac compressions. Sets up and maintains all oxygen according to protocol.
