About the Position
Job Title: CT Technologist Profession: Radiology Specialty: CT Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours (07:00 - 19:30) Experience: Minimum 1 year of CT technologist experience License: Current ARRT certification required Certifications: Current BLS certification required; AART Advanced certification preferred Must-Have: Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment Strong communication and interpersonal skills Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including weekends and on-call duties Description: We are seeking a skilled and experienced CT Technologist to join our team in the CT department of our trauma center. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of experience and possess current BLS and ARRT certifications, with AART Advanced certification preferred. The position involves working in a dynamic emergency room setting with emergent inpatient needs. Responsibilities include performing CT procedures including abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, musculoskeletal, and brain perfusion. The CT Technologist will operate CT equipment efficiently and ensure high-quality imaging. Collaboration with healthcare teams to ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures is essential. The technologist will maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Participation in on-call rotation is required, responding promptly to emergent situations. Experience with Siemens and Epic is required.
