Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to provide comprehensive respiratory care in a critical access acute care setting. This position involves working independently while delivering respiratory therapy services to adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients across multiple hospital departments. The ideal candidate is confident managing critical respiratory cases, prioritizing patient care, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced environment.

Assignment Details

• 13-week travel assignment
• Night shift – 3 x 12-hour shifts
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week
• Variable weekend scheduling based on department needs
• Holiday coverage required if scheduled
• No call or standby requirement
• Department orientation: 3–6 shifts

Requirements

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent Respiratory Therapy experience
• Active Oregon Respiratory Therapist License required at the time of submission
• Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential through NBRC
• Current AHA BLS certification
• Current AHA ACLS certification
• Current NRP certification
• PALS certification preferred
• Experience treating adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients
• Proficient with:
  • Mechanical ventilator management
  • BiPAP and CPAP therapy
  • Bubble CPAP for neonatal patients
  • High-flow oxygen therapy
  • Arterial Blood Gas (ABG) collection and analysis
  • EKG performance
  • Respiratory treatments and airway management
