About the Position

Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technologist Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Nuclear Medicine Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (07:30 - 16:00) Experience: Minimum of 2 years preferred License: State license required Certifications: ARRT N, ARRT R, BLS, NMTCB Must-Have: Strong skills and experience in nuclear medicine required. Independently capable of performing various nuclear medicine procedures. Ability to manage and lead when necessary. Description: This position is for a Nuclear Medicine Technologist working Monday through Friday. The shift will be from 07:30 to 16:00. Responsibilities include performing nuclear stress tests, HIDA scans, VQ scans, biliary studies, lymph injections, and amyloid studies. The workload consists of a high scan load, accommodating both outpatient and inpatient procedures. Experience with GE equipment, particularly the SPEC CTG850, is necessary. On-call coverage is required for weekdays twice a week from 16:00 to 22:00. Weekend on-call coverage is required every other weekend for either Saturday or Sunday, but not both consecutive days. Floating to other units within specialty is expected. Compliance with all safety protocols regarding radioactive materials is mandatory. Applicants must have experience with charting systems, preferably Epic, and previous charge experience is preferred. Candidates should be comfortable with a fast-paced environment and managing multiple tasks effectively.
