About the Position
Job Title: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Specialist Profession: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Specialty: RRT Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:30) Experience: Minimum of 18 months License: IN license required Certifications: ACLS, BCLS, RRT Must-Have: NBRC (RRT) certification Comfort with every other weekend requirement Description: Prescreening question: Provide written confirmation that you are aware of the every other weekend requirement. Shift is 3x12s, every other weekend required. First-time travelers are accepted. Skills required include at least two years of experience with 18 months of recent ICU experience. Education must be accredited through CoARC and regionally accredited through CHEA. Travelers will float between various locations as needed. Candidates must have certification in ACLS, BLS, and RRT. Experience in Adult Critical Care is required. Skills such as airway management, ventilator assistance, and arterial blood gas interpretation are essential. Candidate must be able to troubleshoot high-pressure alarms and provide tracheostomy care. Floating to multiple facilities is 100% required for all travelers. Candidates must be able to work two out of three major holidays. All candidates are required to have two supervisor references. Candidates must have a license in hand prior to the start date. Temporary licenses may be obtainable once permanent license applications have been submitted. Local residents may be considered for certain positions, but not for others. Live attendees must adhere to designated break policies to reset eligibility when necessary.
