Travel experience is mandatory. First-time travelers will not be considered. The technician will support various surgical procedures, including open heart, robotics, endoscopy, general surgery, and orthopedics, among others. Familiarity with specific equipment such as steam sterilizers, plasma sterilizers, and decontamination washers is essential. The daily surgical volume averages around 50 cases with a tray volume of approximately 450. Candidates must have experience working with specific charting systems and procedures. The position may require floating to other departments within the facility as needed. There are no call requirements for this role. The traveler is expected to work on major holidays if they fall within the assignment period. Compliance with onboarding requirements is necessary to start on time. The clinical fit will be evaluated during the review process.
