About the Position

Job Title: Sterile Processing Technician Profession: Surgical Services Specialty: Sterile Processing Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (07:00 - 15:30) Experience: At least 2 years of experience required License: Pending license accepted Certifications: CBSPD and/or HSPA required Must-Have: - Must be available to work major holidays Description: Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience as a Sterile Processing Technician. This position will require availability for Monday through Friday shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Weekend coverage will be required. Experience with Evotech (ASP) systems is preferred. Candidates must have experience working in an acute hospital setting. Knowledge of cleaning equipment, sterilization processes, and proper wrapping materials is essential. Candidates should be proficient in high-level disinfection and use of sterilizers. Experience providing support and assembly of surgical sets and trays is important. Ability to document equipment usage and follow sterilization protocols is necessary. Familiarity with specific equipment such as Steris washers and ultrasonic devices is preferred. Candidates should have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on quality and compliance. This role may require on-call responsibilities. References from previous employment will be required to confirm qualifications. This position is not open to first-time travelers or locals within a designated radius.
