About the Position

Job Title: Mammography Technologist Profession: Radiology/Cardiology Specialty: Mammography Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 5x8-Hour Hours per Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience required License: California State Mammography Licensure Certifications: ARRT, BLS, CRT Must-Have: Certification by the California Department of Health Services as a Certified Radiologic Technologist Description: This position is for a Mammography Technologist. The shifts are Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. For rotating weekend shifts, it is Tuesday to Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM and Saturday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with Monday off. Every other weekend will be required, along with one Saturday per month. The candidate must have experience in diagnostic and screening mammograms. Skills in digital mammography and use of 3D technology are necessary. The candidate will work across three locations, including a mobile van. The role requires adherence to universal precautions and core measures. Experience with the Epic charting system is required. Compliance with regulations and standards in patient care is essential.
