Computed Tomography Technologist (CT Tech)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | Day Shift | 40 Hours per Week (8x5) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Operate computed tomography (CT) equipment to produce cross-sectional images of patients' bones, organs, and tissue for diagnostic purposes
• Perform a variety of imaging procedures including general radiography and fluoroscopy
• Accurately document and chart patient imaging data within electronic medical record (EMR) systems including Epic
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout all imaging procedures
• Collaborate with clinical staff to support diagnostic imaging workflows during an Epic system conversion

Required Qualifications

• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists: R.T. (R)(CT)(ARRT) or R.T. (R)(ARRT) required
• Active Radiologic Technologist (RT) license in the state of California required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor required
• Fluoroscopy license in California required if operating fluoroscopy equipment
• Hospital Fire and Life Safety (HLFS) certification required
• Epic EMR experience required within the last 12 months; Cerner experience required within the last 5 years — each work history entry must specify the charting system used with clarifying dates if multiple EMR systems were used at a single employer

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology preferred
• Advanced certification in CT modality preferred in California
• Venipuncture certification preferred in California
