Job Title

Physical Therapist (PT) – Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility (IRF) Travel

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | Days | 13-Week Assignment | 36–40 Hours per Week Guaranteed | Start Time: 8:00 AM

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct physical therapy treatment to patients in a 52-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation setting
• Manage a caseload of 4–5 patients per day with up to 6 hours of direct treatment time daily
• Deliver specialized rehabilitation services to patients recovering from traumatic brain injury (TBI), spinal cord injury (SCI), and orthopedic trauma
• Document patient progress and treatment plans using Cerner EHR
• Participate in weekend rotation coverage as scheduling requires

Required Qualifications

• Active California Physical Therapist (PT) license
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in acute rehabilitation or acute care settings
• Proficiency or ability to work within Cerner EHR
• Ability to work a Days shift schedule with potential weekend rotation

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience treating TBI, SCI, and orthopedic trauma patient populations
• Familiarity with IRF-level care standards and intensive rehabilitation protocols
