About the Position

Job Title

Travel – CVOR Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)

Ocala, Florida

Schedule / Job Type

Contract (13-Week Travel Assignment) | Full-Time | Onsite | Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Perform scrub technologist duties within a cardiovascular operating room (CVOR) setting
• Prepare and maintain the sterile field before, during, and after surgical procedures
• Anticipate surgeon needs and pass instruments, supplies, and equipment during cardiovascular procedures
• Ensure proper handling, counting, and documentation of surgical instruments and sponges
• Collaborate with the surgical team to maintain patient safety and OR efficiency throughout all procedures

Required Qualifications

• Active Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification required
• Minimum of 2 years of surgical technologist experience
• Demonstrated experience in cardiovascular or open-heart surgical procedures
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-acuity OR environment
• Compliance with all travel assignment onboarding requirements including health screenings and credentialing

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel assignment experience as a Surgical Technologist
• Experience in a trauma center or large acute care hospital setting
• Familiarity with robotic or minimally invasive cardiovascular surgical procedures
