Key Responsibilities of the Radiation Therapist

• Administer prescribed doses of radiation to specific body parts while ensuring patient safety
• Collaborate with oncology team to develop radiation treatment plans
• Monitor patients for unusual reactions and document treatment details
• Maintain and operate radiation equipment safely and effectively

Requirements of the Radiation Therapist

• Current and valid Radiation Therapy License
• Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• Minimum of 1 year experience as a Radiation Therapist
