About the Position

Job Title: Medical Laboratory Technologist Profession: Medical Laboratory Science Specialty: Hematology/Core Lab Duration: Full-Time Shift: Varies Hours per Shift: 11p-7:30a with every other weekend Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent experience within specialty License: No specific license required Certifications: ASCP, AMT, AAB Must-Have: Experience with Sysmex and CellaVision systems Description: We are seeking a qualified Medical Laboratory Technologist. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of recent experience in hematology and core lab. Experience with Sysmex and CellaVision systems is required. The ideal candidate should have worked in a large hospital laboratory with over 600 beds. We need someone who understands the busy workload and pace of a high-volume lab. Experience handling complex samples, including turbid specimens, platelet clumps, and abnormal cell findings, is essential. Accurate performance of differentials is a critical part of daily operations, especially in our neonatal units. Candidates must be familiar with managing these challenges to transition quickly into the role. Please note that we will only consider applicants for Medical Laboratory Technologist and Medical Laboratory Scientist positions. Medical Laboratory Technician candidates will not be considered.
