About the Position

Job Title: Inpatient Pharmacist Profession: Pharmacy Specialty: Pharmacist Inpatient Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (06:00 - 14:30) Experience: Minimum 2 years required License: PA state license required Certifications: BLS, RPh required Must-Have: - EPIC Beacon experience required - Pyxis experience required - Candidate must notify them if they are a tobacco or fragrance user Description: Schedule requirements are 40 hours per week, scheduled between 6 a.m. and 7 p.m. Every 3rd or 4th Saturday shifts will be required from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Candidates will be reviewed by clinical staff to determine clinical fit. If the clinical assessment is passed and meets guidelines, the candidate will be sent to the manager for a final decision. Clinical screenings will be conducted on a case-by-case basis. Interviews will be conducted by the manager. The facility has special policies for COVID patients. Candidate must have the ability to provide care to diverse age groups including neonates, adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. The daily census in the unit is approximately 120. The unit has a total of 163 beds. Pre-approved time off is limited to a maximum of 7 days. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to provide clinical dosing and therapeutic medication monitoring. Experience in inpatient or acute care pharmacy is essential. Module training may be required and is billable, generally lasting 5-6 hours, to be completed prior to the start date.
