About the Position

Job Title: X-Ray Technician Profession: Radiology Specialty: X-Ray Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 1 year License: Valid state license required Certifications: BLS, ARRT (R) Must-Have: - First timers accepted - Skills in various X-Ray procedures including abdomen, chest, and portable procedures - Experience with charting systems, preferably Epic Description: The X-Ray Technician will perform diagnostic imaging procedures. This position requires the ability to operate X-Ray equipment and follow safety protocols. The technician will work closely with patients of all ages, including neonates and geriatrics. The role involves floating to different departments as needed. Weekend coverage is required every Sunday. Candidates should be prepared to work with various patients, including those in the emergency department and operating room. The technician will be responsible for preparing and administering contrast media as required. Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams is essential. This is a non-call position.
