About the Position

Job Title: EP Tech Profession: Allied Specialty: Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 9hr Day Shift Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum 2 years of EP experience License: BLS, ACLS, ARRT-R or RCIS or RCES Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: Experience with electrophysiology studies, catheter ablations, and implantable devices. Ability to scrub and monitor cases simultaneously. Experience with moderate sedation (versed/fentanyl). Strong teamwork skills in a 4-person team setting. Description: This position is for an Electrophysiology Tech. The facility has one EP lab, with plans for expansion. The lab averages 4-5 EP cases per day, focusing on adults. Common procedures include electrophysiology studies, catheter ablations, and implantation of devices. Candidates must have experience with generator changes, cardioversions, and leadless devices. Applicants should have the ability to scrub, monitor cases, and work closely with RNs. Support within the department includes charge RNs, a dedicated scheduler, and 24/7 rapid response teams. Technology used includes electronic medical records and advanced cardiology mapping systems. The unit fosters a collaborative culture, emphasizing teamwork and patient care.
