About the Position

Job Title: CT Tech Profession: CT Tech Specialty: Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 - 23:30 Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: ARRT RT (R) (CT) Certifications: ARRT RT (R) (CT) Must-Have: Must be accredited in CT. Description: This position requires competent performance in CT exams. The shift supports the emergency room volume. No interventional experience is necessary. Procedures performed on this unit include various CT exams. Advanced skills are not necessary, but basic CT skills are required. The candidate will work alongside existing tenured staff members. The unit has 2-3 staff members available per shift. The type of equipment includes GE Revolution 256 slice and GE VCT 64 slice CT scanners. Documentation is managed through Meditech and Synapse PACS. This position has a flexible scheduling option. The dress code requires wearing navy uniforms. Unit-specific policies and guidelines will be reviewed with the candidate. There is a focus on scanning protocols and IV contrast policy. The GE Revolution 256 slice CT scanner is one of the most advanced scanners on the market.
