About the Position

Job Title: Cardiac Sonographer Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Echo Tech/Cardiac Sonographer Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience required License: Required certifications needed Certifications: BLS, RDCS or RCS Must-Have: 3 years of experience required Description: Cardiac sonographer for inpatient and outpatient population. Shifts are 4 days per week, from 06:00 to 16:00. Call is required. Experience with patient diagnoses such as valvular disease, CHF, oncology, congenital anomalies, cardiomyopathy, and cardiogenic shock is needed. Required skills include 2-D Echo, 3-D Echo, Bubble Study, Color Doppler, Continuous Wave Doppler, Diastology, and Imaging with Contrast Agents. Experience with LV Strain/LV Volume, M-Mode, Pharmacologic Stress Echo, Portable Studies, and Transesophageal Echocardiogram (TEE) is preferred. The role will involve working with various patient age groups including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. Regular communication and collaboration with interdisciplinary support is expected. Preferred candidates will have experience with the Epic charting system. Local candidates may be accepted at a reduced rate. Previous travel experience is preferred. Candidates must be separated from previous employment for at least one year before returning as a traveler.
