Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced CVOR Certified Surgical Technician (CST) for a long-term assignment in Waco, TX. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced surgical technologist with strong Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) experience who is comfortable supporting complex cardiac and endovascular procedures in a Hybrid OR environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist surgeons during open heart, cardiovascular, thoracic, and endovascular procedures.

• Prepare and maintain sterile instruments, equipment, and supplies.

• Support procedures performed in the Hybrid Operating Room (OR).

• Anticipate surgeon needs and maintain a sterile field throughout procedures.

• Ensure proper handling and accountability of surgical instruments and supplies.

• Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, anesthesia providers, and the surgical team to provide exceptional patient care.

• Participate in the on-call rotation to provide Hybrid OR coverage.

Schedule

• Monday through Friday

• 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM

• On-call required

Requirements

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of CVOR Surgical Technology experience

• Current Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential

• Current BLS Certification

• Strong experience in:

  • Cardiovascular (CVOR) surgery

  • Open heart procedures

  • Thoracic surgery

  • Endovascular procedures

  • Hybrid OR environment

• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced surgical setting
