To qualify, you must hold one of the following credentials: Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer Pediatric (RDCS PE), American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS), or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI), with at least two years of pediatric experience. The role requires strong skills in preparing preliminary interpretation reports, billing procedures, study transmittal, and coverage for satellite sites. The schedule is days, 40 hours per week, with holiday, weekend, and on-call coverage required. On-call details will be discussed during the interview. The Sonographer will perform various modalities of cardiac ultrasound, including transthoracic echo, stress echo and assistance in transesophageal echo. The role also performs other noninvasive testing, including electrocardiograms and the application of Holter monitors. Sonographer is accountable for the preparations of premilitary interpretation reports for the echocardiograms, billing procedures, study transmittal and coverage for satellite sites.
