Job Summary

Certified Surgical Technologist – First Assist (CSTFA) to support surgeons during a wide variety of operative procedures. The ideal candidate will have strong intraoperative skills, extensive first assist experience, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced operating room while maintaining the highest standards of patient safety and sterile technique.

Requirements

Minimum Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room experience.
• NBSTSA Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential.
• Certified Surgical First Assistant (CSTFA) / NBSTSA First Assist certification required.
• Recent experience functioning as a First Assist in the operating room.
• Strong knowledge of aseptic technique, surgical instrumentation, and perioperative procedures.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience assisting with multiple surgical specialties.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume surgical environment.
