About the Position

Job Title

Respiratory Therapist – Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics

Spokane, WA

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 4x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Every Other Weekend Required | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy services across multiple units, including floor care, emergency room, code response, and rapid response situations
• Float between units as needed based on patient acuity and staffing requirements
• Deliver care within a short-term acute care environment that includes Level II Trauma and Level II Pediatric Trauma designations
• Document patient care and clinical activities using Epic electronic health records
• Participate in block scheduling and adhere to contracted schedule requirements

Required Qualifications

• Valid Washington State or Compact Respiratory Therapist license (required at time of submission)
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
• Experience with floor care, ER, code response, and rapid response
• Ability to work every other weekend as part of the scheduled rotation
• Willingness to float between sister facilities as needed during assignment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a large acute care or teaching hospital environment
• Familiarity with Epic charting system
• Experience in a Level II Trauma or pediatric care setting
