About the Position

Job Title: CT Tech Profession: Radiology/Cardiology Specialty: CT Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (18:00 - 06:30) Experience: Minimum of 2 years preferred, may consider less with relevant certifications License: Required state license, pending license accepted Certifications: ARRT certified in CT and Radiography, BLS Must-Have: Experience in Level I or II trauma settings is preferred. Ability to perform and complete diagnostic procedures following established guidelines. Experience with GE and/or Toshiba equipment. Description: The role involves preparing patients for examinations and performing diagnostic radiology procedures. Technologists will conduct routine radiographic studies and ensure radiation safety for both operators and patients. Candidates should be proficient in placing patients in the proper positions for procedures. Experience in a large hospital trauma environment is an advantage. Familiarity with EPIC EMR is required. The department performs a high volume of scans, averaging 270-290 per day. A collaborative approach with interdisciplinary support services is essential. Flexibility in scheduling, including weekend and holiday shifts, is expected. Candidates must adhere to departmental policies and established protocols.
