About the Position
Job Title: Physical Therapist Profession: Therapy/Rehabilitation Specialty: Outpatient Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 5x8-Hour Hours per Shift: 8 hours (07:30 - 17:30) Experience: 1 year required License: State PT Licensure required Certifications: BLS, Dry Needling, Manual Therapy Must-Have: Outpatient experience Description: Candidates must possess outpatient experience. State PT Licensure from the Board of PT Examiners or PT Compact Commission is required. The schedule is Monday-Thursday from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM, which includes a 1-hour lunch from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. On Fridays, the shift is from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM with no lunch. This totals to 40 hours per week. Rehabilitation hospital experience is preferred. Lifting and transfer skillset is required. First-time travelers will be accepted. Daily workload consists of 10-12 patients. The ideal candidate will have a variety of skills including, but not limited to, assessment and treatment of various conditions, mobility training, and patient education. Skills in acute care, adaptive devices, and rehabilitation techniques are important. Experience with EMR is preferred, specifically with Epic. All candidates must be effective in managing patient care and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams. Travelers will be asked to float as needed, based on unit requirements. Flexibility in handling diverse patient demographics is essential. Candidates should have a strong commitment to patient care and be capable of providing high-quality therapy services.
